Tracked gate hardware
Wheels
The wheels are cut into most steel framed gates. Timber gates prefer the wheel to be bolted to the under side of a frame member. There are wheel sizes to fit all gates, but only the smaller sizes are used. These are the easy options.
Toothed rack
Modulo 4 rack has a tooth pitch of 12.5mm. Modulo 6 rack has a pitch of 19mm, but is only used on very large gates. Steel rack has weld on mounting pillars. The popular nylon rack has integral feet.
Support rollers
Nylon rollers come in all sizes from 25-50mm diameter and various lengths. Brackets or plates are available with sets of rollers with width adjustment.
Ground track
Ground track is either 'V' track, or 20mm 'O' track, or 16mm 'O' track. We only stock the 20mm track in 3m lengths.
