PICO advantages
The power board takes 230Vac mains power, and provides 24Vdc for the control PCB.
The encoder on top of the motor monitors speed and position for stall detection.
Key operated manual dis-engage on the house side.
PICO is a low voltage sliding gate opener with advanced features. An optical encoder on the motor shaft monitors gate progress, facilitating pressure sensitive reversal and a smooth deceleration at the end of travel. Soft start and stop is automatically set during programming. Final stop positions are set by limit switches. In case of a power failure, the PICO has a built-in battery charger. The optional light duty pack will power PICO in standby for 10 hours.
PICO range
PK-550
Industry standard set for domestic gates with 120W brush motor. Some gates may require extra safety devices and hardware.
PK-560
Light commercial sliding gate set with 160W brush motor. Requires extra safety devices for gates in public spaces.
PL-550
Low power sets have a separate power supply that stays in a garage or house. Only a low voltage cable is needed from the power supply to the gate. Batteries are fitted to the control panel.
Gate Hardware
There are two types of hardware that a sliding gate can roll on. Ground tracks are fine for level entrances. Cantilever gates don’t touch the ground so are beneficial on sloping drives, or difficult conditions such as snow or gravel roads
