F700 DIY opener
First, check that your garage door is suitable. There are four door types. Only two are suitable for Foresee openers.
Canopy doors have vertical tracks that run up the door frame. When the door is fully open, about a third or the door remains in front of the door frame.
Retractable doors have horizontal tracks that run from the top corners of the doors. A retractable door slides completely into the garage.
Sectional doors have part vertical and part horizontal tracks connected by a curved part. The door is in 5 or 6 panel sections that finish inside the garage.
Roller shutters are made from 50mm to 75mm high interlocking lathes which are small enough to roll up on a drum.
As you can see from the image above, only the retractable doors and Sectional Doors are suitable for these openers.
There are convertor arms for operating canopy doors that are effective on new or well maintained doors. Search for 'canopy door arm' , or 'canopy door convertor' or 'bow arm convertor'.
Any door to be automated must be well balanced for minimum operating force.

The rail has a manual release cord in case of power failure. An optional cord release (FA01) can be fitted to the door to unlock from outside.

F700 DIY set
F700 is a full feature linear garage door opener packed in a box. The 3 part rail builds up to a 3m track. The F700 has an excellent illustrated manual, plus a DVD showing the installation.
FK350 & FK360 sets
The professional 'Classic' openers have 2 part belt drive arms in either 700N or 1100N power rating. The larger FK360 includes a wireless wall button. Classic openers can have a battery backup, or input from solar power.
F370 Primo set
The PRIMO is the ultimate green power opner. Twin power supplier bring the standby power down under a Watt. The integral courtesy light is a cool LED. Traction power isn't compromised at 1100N.
